THEORISTS ASSOCIATED WITH OUR HORROR
There are many theorists within the film industry that have had an impact on our horror idea and helped us depict our horror trailer.
WES CRAVEN
Scream, Nightmare on Elm Street
Wes Craven, arguably the most renowned horror film director, is an American film director who has had an incredible impact on the film industry and horror films through the years. Craven has been the director of many successful horror films, with his most popular being Scream and A nightmare On Elm Street, he also created a few books as well in his time, such as Foundation Society, Identity: Thriller and Shocker (no more mister nice guy).
Wes Craven has not only had a massive impact on horror films today, but he has also influenced our group and the way we are going to create our horror trailer and the general idea of it. Wes Cravens love for slasher films has inspired us to create the trailer we have in mind, we want to include blood, gore and guts just like Wes Craven has done in his previous work.

ELI ROTH

Eli Roth has made a massive impact on not just our project but the majority of horror projects in the world. He has influenced the way in which we wanted to build our project, purely evil and sinister. The way he made Hostel and its sequels inspired us to include some of the techniques and style of filming in order to create a suspensive and creepy atmosphere, in order to grasp the audiences attention.

DARREN LYNN BOUSMAN
Saw, The Barrens
Darren Bousman, aged 37, studied film at Full Sail University in Florida.
During 2004, he pitched an idea for a film called "The Desperate" which shared horror themes with Saw through it's gory nature. However, after showing the script to his creators, it was deemed 'too violent' and 'too similar' to Saw.
After Darren showed the script to his partners, he was able to gain contact with Saw's producer, Gregg Hoffman, and swiftly had the film's title changed to Saw 2, of which he would be director.
During the production of Saw II, Bousman directed the music video for Mudvayne's single "Forget to Remember," which appeared as the lead song on Saw 2's soundtrack album.
Saw 2 was highly profitable, and Bousman was signed on to direct Saw 3 as a result.
After Saw 3, he said he would not direct another Saw film, but due to time gaps between his next projects & his current, he was also signed on for Saw 4.
Darren's success & career with the Saw franchise, and how he naturally wrote an inspiring script which later became Saw 2, inspired us to create a film trailer with plenty gore & enticing scenes so that their would be a "something for everyone" vibe throughout the trailer & film.
