WORK ON THE FINAL SHOT
Most, if not all Trailers and Opening Title Sequences have enticing & gripping final shots in an attempt to further grasp the attention of viewers and hook them in at the last second. Most of the work usually goes into these final shots in an effort to make them the best they can possibly be. When filming our A2 trailer, we had to decide on a premise for our final shot, and once we did we had yet to decide on how to go about filming it in an effective & enticing way.
Take for example, our Opening Title Sequence's final shot(s), which our four-man group filmed last year as part of our AS coursework for "Hangman". The OTS's final shot(s) (as seen to the right) was easily the most demanding & enticing part of our OTS, with a large amount of preparation & props going into those single/few shots, such as fake blood & precise timing to get the shot just right. |
